Virginia Jury Awards $25 Million to Asbestos Victim

Newport News, Virginia is home to the Newport News Circuit Court and, thanks to a state court jury, also home to an asbestos victim who recently received $25 million in compensation for his asbestos-related illness. For eighteen years, Rupert “Bert” Minton was a repair supervisor and shipyard worker at Newport News Shipbuilding.
