Pennsylvania Asbestosis Victim Names 103 Defendants in Suit
Jeffrey Pandocchi, an asbestosis patient in Zelienople, Pennsylvania, filed a complaint last month against 103 defendants in which he claimed that they were responsible for producing the asbestos or asbestos products that caused his asbestosis. Specifically, Pandocchi argues that the asbestos tortfeasors failed to inform him of the risks he was undertaking, the harm that they could do to his long-term health, or the actions he could take to mitigate or prevent those risks.
One hundred and three defendants may sound like a lot, but it's not an unreasonable figure when dealing with factors like a lifetime of employment, numerous asbestos-product producers and many more businesses with duties to warn or inform.
