Higher Education: Bad for Your Health?

The University of Central Arkansas is breathing a sigh of relief this month. Not only is it breaking ground on an $18 million, 120,000-square-foot residential facility, it is also beginning the process of tearing down Minton Hall, the previous residential facility and long-time home to both UCA students and dangerous levels of asbestos.

The experience of University of Central Arkansas is not unique. Across the country, hundreds of universities have dorms, classrooms, libraries and administrative buildings that were built with asbestos. The tragic and disconcerting medical and legal reality is that untold numbers of students and alumni may have been exposed to dangerous levels of asbestos during their education!

If you think you might have been exposed to asbestos during your education, contact the asbestos and mesothelioma experts at Fears | Nachawati. With years of experience, we're prepared to advise you of your legal rights. For a free consultation, call toll free 1.866.705.7584 or send an email to info@fnlawfirm.com. We can help you!
